The general secretary of the ‘popular’ has indicated after the Board of Trustees that “the one who is strong and has the clearest ideas is the PP”, for which “it will continue to call for a useful vote” at the national and regional level after the 19J. She has also ruled out that they are worried that Cs will go to the elections on their own: “In Andalusia they also appeared and we got an absolute majority.”
Catalá has clarified that “they have never closed the door to any type of interaction” and that the PP is “open to anyone”, but has stressed that they are “focused on voters”.
In addition, he has remarked that the PP in the Feijóo era focuses on “moderation” and that Carlos Mazón’s brand and his own “always coincide with a moderate tone.” “It cannot be said that there has been any outburst and we have had obvious reasons”, he has stated, and has insisted on the “proactive spirit” that they have maintained. “I don’t think we have to change the roadmap right now,” he added.
For her part, the trustee of Citizens in the regional Parliament, Ruth Merino, has stated that she prefers that the formation attend the elections alone, and has assured that in this Monday’s executive “there was no talk at any time of converging or at the national or regional level.

Asked about the decision of the president of the party, Inés Arrimadas, not to resign, she considered that “it may be correct” although “you never know, because after the past bull is always easier to say.” Thus, she has considered that “leaving and leaving the entire dome” was a “very strong blow”, for which she has given them a “vote of confidence”.
