The designer Cristóbal Aguiló has been the winner of the San Juan poster contest for this year’s festivities in Soria capital. With the motto ‘Appointment required’, the winning proposal has achieved 37.7 percent of the 1,122 votes cast, more than 95 percent through the Consistory’s new ‘online’ participation platform, with which it was decided the winner of this year’s contest.

As reported by the Soria City Council, the participants were also able to choose their favorite poster in person at the citizen attention service itself. The second poster, with the slogan Toro, has obtained 32.9 percent of the votes, while the third has turned out to be ‘My land’, with 23.8 percent and the fourth, ‘Which bird Phoenix’, it obtained 5.4 percent of the support.

This is the third time that this Murcian designer wins the poster in the popular vote, after passing the first screening carried out by a technical jury among the 45 received.

This year, the San Juan 2022 poster contest has taken to the streets, occupying the windows of 31 establishments in the city center, starting with number 1 in El Collado and continuing through Plaza del Rosel, Calle Estudios, Puertas de Pro, Numancia, Farriers, Callejón del Crier, Plaza del Salvador, Nicolás Rabal and Calle Cortes.

The Soria City Council has had the collaboration of the different merchant associations that have wanted to join this new initiative so that all citizens can learn about the 45 works submitted to the competition and also continue working on the campaign to promote purchases in ‘ House’.
