Man, the weather has been all over the place lately. One day it’s freezing, the next day it’s almost like summer. But guess what? This weekend is looking promising!

I’m talking about Saturday, folks. It’s gonna be like a sneak peek of June in the middle of April. The temperatures are gonna creep up as we get closer to the weekend. By Friday, we’ll be feeling warmer than usual. And on Saturday, we’re looking at highs in the 70s, maybe even hitting 80s. Unless you’re on Long Island, then you’ll have to settle for the 60s because of that pesky SW wind.

Now, don’t get too excited thinking we’re breaking records or anything. Usually, this time of year, we’re talking about 90s in Central Park. But hey, 15 to 20 degrees above average is still pretty sweet. If you’ve been missing your summer clothes, this is the time to bring them out. Just watch out for the pollen if you’re allergic to trees.

And don’t worry, the warmth doesn’t stop on Sunday. It might not be as toasty as Saturday, but mid to upper 60s is nothing to complain about. You can enjoy your Easter egg hunts and family brunches without freezing your butt off.

Oh, and get this – the weekend is gonna be pretty dry. No need for an umbrella during the day. Any rain showers are gonna wait until the evening or overnight. And even then, it’s mostly gonna hit areas north and west of the city. So, you’re in the clear for any outdoor plans.

The only thing to watch out for is the dewy grass on Sunday morning. It’s gonna be slippery, so be prepared for some clumsy egg hunters and grass-stained clothes. But hey, that’s all part of the fun, right?
