When a van collided with a mobile home near Ochtrup (Steinfurt district), four people were injured, some of them life-threateningly. In the accident, the driver of the van collided head-on with the oncoming couple’s mobile home on Thursday evening, the cause of which was initially unclear, the police said.

The 47-year-old van driver was trapped in the vehicle, but the police were able to free him before the fire department arrived. He and the passenger of the van are life-threatening, the couple in the caravan were seriously injured. All four were taken to nearby hospitals. The country road had to be closed for hours due to leaking fuel.
