The large bakery Schäfer’s has recalled Danube Wellen, which was sold on Thursday, because of possible glass splinters. The Edeka Group, to which the bakery chain belongs, said individual pieces could contain glass foreign bodies. Only the Danube waves that were delivered on Thursday and sold at the service counters at Edeka, Edeka Center, Marktkauf and in the Schäfer’s bakeries are affected. Branches in Lower Saxony, Bremen, East Westphalia-Lippe and Saxony-Anhalt are affected by the recall.
