For actress Chryssanthi Kavazi (“GZSZ”) it has danced out. The 34-year-old was unable to convince the jury or the audience with her Slowfox on the RTL show “Let’s Dance” on Friday evening. At the “Hot Salsa Night” that followed, Kavazi and professional dancer Vadim Garbuzov also missed the chance of many additional points. The couple was chosen second from the race by the jury and thus received only two out of a possible ten extra points.

Actress Sharon Battiste (31) was named “Hot Salsa Night” winner in show eight and “Salsa Queen” by presenter Victoria Swarovski. For the first time, the stars had to show their endurance by salsa dancing and swinging their hips for up to seven minutes. Together with professional dancer Christian Polanc, ex-“Bachelorette” Battiste was even able to dance model Anna Ermakova (23) off.

“You’re just great. Period.”

However, Ermakova did not have to do without praise that evening either. Made up as a dancing marionette, the model once again wowed viewers and the jury with a Charleston alongside Valentin Lusin. After that, there was praise for her charisma and facial expressions, among other things. “Even if we repeat ourselves: you’re just great. Point,” clarified juror Joachim Llambi. For the daughter of tennis legend Boris Becker there were again a full 30 points.

In addition to Ermakova, ex-professional gymnast Philipp Boy was also able to dance the maximum number of points with a quick step. “I’m so incredibly happy,” said the 35-year-old about his rating. Actress Julia Beautx (23) and professional Zsolt Sándor Cseke also got a total of 29 points. The jury praised the great development that Beautx has undergone since the first broadcast. She was “the perfect example that you should never give up,” explained Motsi Mabuse. After her – according to Llambi – “excellent samba”, the 23-year-old also danced her way into the last three in the subsequent salsa competition behind Battiste and Ermakova.

“A fancy chimney sweep”

Twitch star Jens “Knossi” Knossalla (36) floated across the floor to the Mary Poppins song “Chim Chim Cher-ee” with Isabel Edvardsson dressed as a magical nanny. This week, Knossalla was “an elegant, a chic chimney sweep with a Viennese waltz,” Llambi praised the performance. Mentalist Timon Krause (28) and dance partner Ekaterina Leonova were also able to convince the jury with a touching contemporary. Mabuse again referred to the extraordinary chemistry that the couple had.

After Kavazi’s departure, there are now six couples left in the 16th “Let’s Dance” season. Under the motto “Magic Moments”, the celebrities should dance the magical moments of their lives next week.
