A truck driver from Thuringia died in an accident near Dransfeld in the Göttingen district. The 57-year-old drove his vehicle off the road to the left on Monday for reasons that are still unclear, the police announced in the evening. The semi-trailer truck loaded with bulk goods tipped over on its side and the driver was trapped in the driver’s cab. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
