So, like, the suspect in the FSU shooting? Yeah, turns out he’s the son of a deputy sheriff. Crazy, right? His mom has been working for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office for, like, 18 years. Imagine finding out your own kid was involved in something like this. Must be rough for her.
I heard at least two people died and six got hurt in the shooting. That’s just heartbreaking, man. And the shooter, this 20-year-old dude named Phoenix Ikner, got shot by first responders and is in the hospital now. Talk about a messed up situation.
Apparently, Phoenix had one of his mom’s guns with him during the shooting. Like, what the heck was he thinking? Having a handgun and a shotgun on him at a college campus? That’s just asking for trouble. And to think he was part of the sheriff’s office’s Youth Advisory Council? Doesn’t really add up, does it?
The sheriff mentioned that they’re still trying to figure out why this all happened. Like, what could have possibly led this guy to do something so awful? The whole thing is just so senseless. And the response from law enforcement was, like, massive, according to Chief Revell. Hundreds, maybe even thousands of witnesses? That’s just insane.
And get this, the dude didn’t even follow orders from the officers before they shot him. Like, seriously? What was he expecting? It’s a miracle no officers got hurt in all this chaos. Hopefully, they can get to the bottom of why this tragedy occurred. Just a sad, sad situation all around.
