A dude died after getting stabbed during a Friday morning rush hour situation that ended on a Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall subway station platform. This mess happened before 9 a.m. and the dude, who was 38 years old, got stabbed twice in the chest. Apparently, the whole thing started on the train and then spilled onto the southbound platform for the 4, 5, 6 trains.
One of the guys involved stepped on the other one’s shoe while they were on the train, and then they started arguing. It’s not really clear who stepped on whose shoes, but they started fighting, and things got out of control real quick. The victim collapsed on the platform after the altercation and was taken to the hospital in bad shape. He ended up dying. No arrests have been made, and the attacker is still out there somewhere.
If you’re trying to get to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, you might have to transfer at 14 St-Union Sq (4/5) to a southbound 6 train because of this whole mess. The cops are still investigating, and there’s a lot of them at the station.
