Elon Musk, the billionaire tech guy, said that he’s gonna spend less time on DOGE and more time on Tesla starting next month. This is a big deal for Tesla investors who are sick of his politics and it might shake things up at the White House.
Musk said all this while he was talking to investors after Tesla’s profits and revenue took a nosedive in the first quarter. They’re blaming the Trump administration’s tariff plans and the general political mess for their problems.
But like, why is Elon even doing politics in the first place? His work with Trump has made Tesla a target for protests and vandalism. That can’t be good for business.
Tesla, who’s trying to get into robots now, is saying that their profits fell 71% this quarter. That’s a big drop from last year. Maybe they should’ve stuck with cars, who knows?
