A dude is like totally getting better on Wednesday after he got shot in the arm in Times Square, according to the NYPD. The whole shooting thing went down around 4:50 a.m. at West 47th Street and 7th Avenue, cops said. They said the 29-year-old guy ended up at Bellevue hospital in stable condition with a bullet wound in his right arm. They didn’t give any details about the suspect and they’re still trying to figure it all out. They shut down part of the area earlier and made cars go somewhere else off 7th Avenue.
I mean, what even happened in Times Square early in the morning? Some guy just got shot out of nowhere? Seems pretty wild if you ask me. Can’t really wrap my head around it, but I guess that’s just how things go sometimes.
The victim is doing okay, thankfully. I mean, getting shot is no joke, so it’s good to know he’s stable. But seriously, what’s with all the violence in such a busy area like Times Square? Not really sure why this matters, but I feel like we should be able to walk around without worrying about getting shot. Just saying.
Hopefully, the police can figure out who did this and make sure it doesn’t happen again. I mean, it’s pretty scary to think that someone out there just shot a guy in the middle of Times Square. Makes you wonder what’s going on in the world, you know?
Anyway, let’s hope they catch the person responsible soon. Stay safe out there, folks. You never know what could happen, even in a place like Times Square.
