France Info reports that 91 Republic on the Move members have been expelled for dissident reasons in the context legislative elections.

Our information shows that this list includes Guillaume Gardillou, a Perigourdin. This is not surprising: The former chief of staff to Limoges’ mayor had previously announced that he was running for the third constituency (Nontron). He was therefore directly competing with Jean-Pierre Cubertafon, Modem deputy.

His party decided to discredit him. “Guillaume Gardillou, who is a member of LREM, was expelled because he was running against an officially invested candidate”, details Dominique Gaschard (departmental referent for En Marche).

Jacqueline Dubois (outgoing MP for fourth constituency (Sarlat) isn’t one of those excluded. Gaschard admits that “the question could have arisen had Jerome Peyrat not retired.”

Does this mean LREM supports Ms. Dubois, or is it a contradiction? Dominique Gaschard replies, “We can’t necessarily state that.” Because it supports Emmanuel Macron, it is the closest to the president’s majority. He will be voted for by our voters.
