So, like, there was this county judge in Milwaukee who got arrested by the FBI on Friday, right? They’re saying she, like, obstructed the detention of an undocumented immigrant wanted by the feds. The arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan is a big deal ’cause Trump’s all about cracking down on immigration and stuff, you know?
Hannah Dugan got nabbed by the FBI and is now in the hands of the U.S. Marshals. They busted her at like 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Milwaukee County Courthouse before she even went inside. Court documents about the arrest weren’t ready yet on Friday.
The news first came out in a now-deleted post by FBI Director Kash Patel. He claimed Dugan purposely led federal agents on a wild goose chase when the person they were after showed up in her court for another case. Patel said the agents had to chase the guy down on foot, all ’cause of Dugan’s shenanigans.
The deputy court clerk for Dugan couldn’t say anything about the arrest, and the head judge of the court didn’t respond to requests for comment. Sounds like a real juicy story, doesn’t it?
