A 31-year-old man was shot and critically injured on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. The victim was shot in the stomach in a kebab shop on Tuesday night, a police spokesman said on Tuesday in Hamburg. As the NDR reports with reference to the police and snack bar staff, the 31-year-old is said to have previously sat at a table with companions. Then a shot rang out and he fell to the ground.
Subsequently, several unrecognized fled in an unknown direction. In this context, a black Audi is being sought. The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and required emergency surgery. The background to the fact was initially unclear. In the recent past, there have always been shots in the drug milieu, the broadcaster reports. Investigators examined the crime scene overnight. The perpetrators were still on the run as of Tuesday morning.
