The Special Operations Group (GEO) of the National Police has participated in training on responses to critical situations managed by anti-terrorist teams to three components of the State Protection and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova.
The agents have visited the GEO facilities in Guadalajara, from May 9 to 13, in a TAIEX study visit -a tool to facilitate the exchange of practices of the European Union- in which they have received training ‘ Construction of response capacities in critical situations managed by anti-terrorist teams’.
During the visit, different exercises were addressed to improve response capabilities, such as protection exercises in large events, reaction from helicopter and vehicle or operational activity related to TCCC (operational paramedical actions).
TAIEX is an instrument of the European Commission that supports public administrations in terms of approximation, application and compliance with EU legislation, as well as facilitating the exchange of best practices in the EU.
