The Government of Castilla-La Mancha offers for the next academic year 2022-2023 11 new Vocational Training training cycles and five new specialization courses for students who have completed a Higher Vocational Training Degree in the province of Toledo.

This has been pointed out by the provincial delegate for Education, Culture and Sports, José Gutiérrez, who has underlined that this wide educational offer in Vocational Training at its different levels, modalities and professional families «has been designed taking into account the reality of the province of Toledo, the labor demand and student needs.

This expansion of the training offer of the regional government chaired by Emiliano García-Page arises from the study, planning, knowledge and analysis of the labor market in the province, as well as the business fabric itself, as explained by the provincial delegate for Education.

“We work in a co-responsible way between educational centers, students and the business fabric with the aim of guaranteeing a high level of hiring by companies of students who complete their Vocational Training cycles”, he added.

In Gutiérrez’s opinion, the regional government is responding to the constant growth in the demand for Vocational Training studies with a wide and innovative training offer, which adapts to the demands of the student body, as well as the demands of the labor market in the different areas of the province, seeking high employability.

The new FP cycles that are launched in the province of Toledo are the following: the CFGB of Hairdressing and Aesthetics at the IES ‘Aldonza Lorenzo’, in La Puebla de Almoradiel; the CFGB of Office Computing at the IES ‘Enrique de Arfe’ in Villacañas; the CFGM of Microcomputer Systems and Networks at the IES ‘Los Navalmorales’ in this same town; the CFGS for Teaching and Socio-sports Animation at the IES ‘Valdehierro’ in Madridejos and the CFGS for Early Childhood Education at the IES ‘Margarita Salas’ in Seseña.

Likewise, and in the Distance Education modality, the Higher Degree training cycles in Marketing and Advertising are launched at the IES ‘Condestable Álvaro de Luna’, in Illescas; Administration and Finance at the IES ‘Ribera del Tajo’, in Talavera de la Reina; and Social Integration at the IES ‘El Greco’ in Toledo.

Finally, next year the basic training cycles of Administrative Services and Access and Conservation of Sports Facilities will be added, both in the CEPA ‘Río Tajo’, in Talavera de la Reina and the Intermediate Level training cycle of Attention to People in Situation Unit in the CEPA ‘La Raña’, Navahermosa.

The provincial head of Education has highlighted this new training offer for FP cycles that with the new cycle of Teaching and Socio-sports Animation in Madridejos “we are attending to a historical demand of the municipality and it is a fulfilled commitment” or with the cycle of Early Childhood Education in Seseña “we respond to a highly demanded degree in an area of ​​the province such as La Sagra, which is experiencing significant population growth, which, also linked to the regional government’s strategy for Education from 0 to 3 years, will mean a high employability for the students of this specialty”.

Gutiérrez has also highlighted the cycle of Microcomputer Systems and Networks in Los Navalmorales, since a training offer highly demanded by the business fabric in general is being extended to the region of Talavera.

In this context, the provincial delegate for Education highlighted the new specialization course in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data that will be taught next year at the ‘Ribera del Tajo’ secondary school in Talavera, “complements and continues the specialization that demand in this city that is betting on this productive change and having the adequate training that is demanded and will be demanded in the future».
