In an accident involving a total of eleven vehicles, ten people were injured on Thursday evening in the Bad Kreuznach district, one of them seriously. The seriously injured person is not in danger of life, said a police spokeswoman. A driver probably braked on a crest of the federal highway 41 because of the low sun and drizzle. The other vehicles then drove up. The scene of the accident had to be closed completely during the rescue and clean-up work, and a long backlog formed.
