A 31-year-old man was stabbed to death in Recklinghausen on Saturday. The police arrested three suspicious men, as they announced with the Bochum public prosecutor’s office that night.
Paramedics found the 31-year-old with a stab wound in front of a building in the König-Ludwig district on Saturday afternoon, it was said. He succumbed to his injuries on site despite attempts at resuscitation. A 30-year-old man turned himself in at a police station during the afternoon and was arrested. On Saturday evening, special forces also arrested a 28-year-old and a 54-year-old near the crime scene.
Investigators initially did not provide any information about the motive or background to the crime. A murder squad is investigating the case.
