All the cases are having mild symptoms and, except for one suspect who is hospitalized for another pathology unrelated to monkeypox, the rest of the people are in home isolation and receiving follow-up by Primary Care.

The cases in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the alert now total 20 confirmed, fifteen in Gran Canaria and five in Tenerife, three probable cases pending confirmation, all detected in Gran Canaria, four suspected cases, pending confirmation, which have been detected one in Gran Canaria, one in Lanzarote and two in Fuerteventura.
