After the nationwide warning strikes in public transport, the trains should also be rolling again in Berlin and Brandenburg on Tuesday. The regional and S-Bahn traffic in the two federal states had already partially started again on Monday afternoon, as announced by Deutsche Bahn. After the EVG strike on Monday, Deutsche Bahn expects largely normal operations on Tuesday morning. However, some ICE and IC trains and the staff first have to get to where they are needed.

The railway and transport union, together with Verdi, had called for nationwide warning strikes in public transport on Monday. In Berlin and Brandenburg, regional and S-Bahn services largely came to a standstill. The municipal transport companies such as the BVG in Berlin were not affected. Buses, subways and trams ran without restrictions.

BER Airport was also not directly affected. However, some flights were canceled due to the warning strikes at other airports. For Tuesday, the operators assume normal operation without restrictions.
