americans-fed-up-with-federal-waste-republicans-take-note

Honestly, the federal budget is a total mess right now. Despite all the talk about cutting costs and bringing in revenue through tariffs, Americans are not fooled. We were promised smart business decisions and fiscal responsibility, but what we got is the complete opposite. It’s a disaster, plain and simple.

The Cato Institute did a survey and the results are clear: we don’t trust politicians with our money. Seventy-six percent of us think the government spends way too much. And get this, a whopping 85% say all this spending in the last ten years hasn’t done anything good for us. It’s like we’re throwing money down the drain.

Almost everyone believes there’s a ton of waste, fraud, and abuse in federal spending. Two-thirds of us think there’s a whole lot of it going on. We estimate that 59 cents of every dollar is just being wasted. That’s a lot, in my opinion.

We need a wake-up call here. The debt is piling up fast. We’re already $1.3 trillion in the hole this year, and interest payments are over $500 billion. It’s getting out of control. And those high interest rates? They’re not helping. It’s like a bad joke.

And don’t even get me started on inflation. The Fed Chair said Trump’s tariffs are going to make things worse. We might have to raise interest rates, which means even more money going to pay off debt. It’s a vicious cycle, and we’re stuck in it.

And now the Republicans want to extend those tax cuts. Sure, there are ways to do it, but they’re going about it all wrong. No spending cuts, no real plan. It’s just digging us deeper into a hole.

And what about DOGE, the efficiency department? They’re only cutting $150 billion, not the $2 trillion they promised. It’s something, but it’s not enough to make a real difference.

Republicans need to wake up and start making some real changes. We can’t keep going down this path of fiscal irresponsibility. Voters are fed up, and they’re looking for someone to step up and take charge. It’s time for some real action.
