alexander-brothers-facing-new-charges-ncluding-minor-sex-trafficking

A high-profile case against some big-shot real estate moguls took a wild turn this week when the feds decided to slap some new charges on Oren and Tal Alexander, as well as their bro Alon, on May 8. These charges were part of a superseding indictment that basically said, “Hey, forget the first charges, we got more juicy stuff to throw at you!” The Alexander brothers now have to deal with even more alleged counts of sex trafficking, including one involving a minor. Yikes!

Oren Alexander, who’s 37, and his bro Alon were caught chatting it up with their lawyer, Joel Denaro, during a bond hearing back in December 2024 in Miami. These brothers made a name for themselves in New York’s fancy real estate world through their company, Alexander Group. But it looks like their shady activities have caught up with them, as they’ve been under the feds’ microscope since late 2024. Apparently, they’ve been accused of luring women to parties and clubs, drugging them, and doing some pretty terrible stuff to them.

All three of these dudes previously said, “Nah, not guilty,” to the first round of sex trafficking charges. But if they end up getting convicted on the federal charges, they could be looking at 15 years to life behind bars. That’s no joke! And to make matters worse, the superseding indictment dropped even more alleged victims into the mix. Now there are six poor souls at the center of this mess.

One of the victims, known as Minor Victim-3, was trafficked even though Alon and Tal had a “reasonable opportunity” to see she wasn’t even 18. The new indictment didn’t hold back in pointing fingers at these brothers. But their lawyers were quick to dismiss the new charges as nothing more than a reheated version of the same old story. They’re not backing down without a fight!

Tal Alexander’s lawyers, Milton Williams and Deanna Paul, told ABC News that the superseding indictment is just a bunch of hot air. They’re not really sure why this matters, but they’re standing by their client. And Oren’s lawyer, Richard Klugh, is right there with them, saying the new charges are all bark and no bite. He’s confident that Oren’s innocence will come out in the wash, especially since he passed a polygraph test with flying colors.

Even Alon’s lawyer, Howard Srebnick, is throwing punches, claiming that his client aced a lie detector test administered by a former FBI pro. According to Srebnick, not a single accuser, old or new, has managed to pass an FBI polygraph. Shots fired! But the feds aren’t backing down either. They’re keeping their cards close to the chest and calling this an ongoing investigation.

The real estate world in New York is shooketh by this whole scandal. The Alexander Group used to be the go-to for celebs looking to seal multimillion-dollar deals. Now, it’s all gone up in smoke. The brothers are currently cooling their heels at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, waiting for their day in court. The trial is set for January, but who knows what other twists and turns this case will take before then.

An arraignment for the new charges hasn’t been scheduled yet, so the Alexander brothers will just have to sit tight for now. It’s definitely going to be a bumpy ride for these real estate big shots, that’s for sure.
