Five people, including four children and young people, were injured in a car accident in Münsterland. The 30-year-old driver drove his car off the road in a curve near Wettringen (Steinfurt district) for unknown reasons and slipped into a ditch, the police said.
The driver and a 13-year-old passenger were seriously injured in the accident on Saturday evening. Three other passengers between the ages of 9 and 17 were slightly injured. All five occupants were taken to the hospital. According to police, a rescue helicopter was also in use.
