A 39-year-old worker has been injured after a metal cylinder exploded in a workshop located on Travesía Higuera in the Albacete town of Montealegre del Castillo, hitting him with one of the pieces of the container on his head.
As reported to Europa Press by sources from the Emergency and Emergency Care and Coordination Service 112 of Castilla-La Mancha, the work accident took place this Tuesday at around 7:38 p.m.
As a result of the blow, the worker suffered a head injury and had to be treated by an ICU and an emergency ambulance at the scene and later transferred to the General Hospital of Albacete in a medical helicopter. The Civil Guard also came to the scene.
