The White House is all about promoting families and making more babies happen in the good ol’ US of A. But not everyone is on board with these proposals – some folks think it’s just a bunch of hogwash that won’t really help anyone.
Simone and Malcolm Collins, who are all about boosting the birth rate, suggested giving out medals to moms with a bunch of kids and getting rid of that pesky tax penalty for getting hitched. But not everyone is thrilled about these ideas, saying we should focus on stuff like affordable childcare and paid family leave instead.
If we really want to see more babies being born, we gotta focus on policies that actually help families and our economy grow. When we become a family-friendly country, that’s when we’ll really start seeing more kiddos running around.
