Just a few days after rejecting several allegations of abuse via video call at a court hearing in London, Kevin Spacey (63) was in a good mood in public. The actor attended a football match in Turin on Sunday. In the home defeat of FC Torino (0:1 against Spezia Calcio), Spacey appeared carefree in the stands. He laughed with his companions, posed for photos and waved to the audience. Behind the scenes, he was presented with a jersey with his name on the back.

Spacey is in the northern Italian city as he received a lifetime achievement award from the local film museum this Monday. He will also teach a master class there.

Kevin Spacey had to appear in court again in Great Britain on Friday. A man accuses the American of three counts of sexual harassment, three sexual assaults and one coercion to sexual activity. Spacey, who joined the trial via video call, pleaded not guilty to all seven counts.

Spacey is now facing 12 sexual assault charges in the UK. In the other cases, too, he rejects the allegations. The alleged crimes allegedly took place between 2005 and 2013. Kevin Spacey was director of the Old Vic Theater in London from 2003 to 2015.

In his native USA, Kevin Spacey was acquitted in October 2022. The court in New York saw the allegations by actor Anthony Rapp (51) as unproven. Rapp had accused Spacey of molesting him in 1986 – when Rapp was 14 years old.
