Countdown to the European Handball Championships: The men’s European Championships will take place in Germany from January 10th to 28th. The DHB selection last won the title in 2016. Now the team around national coach Alfred Gislason wants to write a winter fairy tale in their own country.
The tournament will be held in six cities in Germany: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Mannheim and Munich. The final round will take place in Cologne.
All of the German team’s games are broadcast on free TV. To this end, the public broadcasters ARD and ZDF had secured the broadcast rights to the DHB selection games. You can also follow some other games in the streams of the ARD and ZDF media libraries.
Alexander Bommes moderates for ARD, supported by commentator Florian Naß and former world champion Johannes Bitter. Yorck Polus is the presenter at ZDF. In the second, Christoph Hamm comments together with former world champion Markus Baur.
All 65 games of this Handball World Cup will also be broadcast on the new paid streaming platform Dyn and also on the European Handball Federation’s YouTube channel, EHF TV. According to its own information, Dyn has at least 31 games exclusively in its program.
