Stormy Daniels, 44, has postponed a much-anticipated exclusive interview with Piers Morgan, 58, at the last minute. The reason is “security concerns,” as Morgan announced on Twitter.
“Sadly, Stormy Daniels had to reschedule our interview tonight due to security issues. I hope she’s ok,” Morgan wrote. It would have been the first interview Daniels would have given after former President Donald Trump (76) was accused in New York of allegedly paying the ex-porn actress hush money.
In addition, according to “Deadline”, tweets promoting the interview have since been removed by Morgan and the broadcaster TalkTV. Daniels has not yet publicly commented on the postponement. In her last tweet on Friday, she thanked her followers for their support and drank champagne.
Trump is the first US President to be impeached for a crime. He has denied any wrongdoing. Daniels claims he had an affair with Trump, which Trump denies. In the wake of the allegations, his former attorney paid Daniels hush money ahead of the 2016 presidential election. These payments may have violated the Campaign Finance Act, which would constitute a criminal offense.
