A 19-year-old from Klötze in western Saxony-Anhalt who has been missing for weeks is dead. Her body was discovered on Thursday in the Helmstedt district, as a spokesman for the Stendal public prosecutor said on Friday on request. A 42-year-old suspect was arrested. The “Bild” newspaper reported on it.
The 19-year-old is said to have been the victim of a crime. The public prosecutor’s office did not give details in the morning. She announced a joint statement with the police.
The 42-year-old suspect had already been investigated on suspicion of manslaughter. But initially there was no confession. According to the police, the 19-year-old was reported missing on the afternoon of March 7th. She is said to have been seen for the last time in Klötze on March 4th.
