This week the DFB Cup begins its hot phase: the last eight teams will compete against each other in the quarter-finals. After the elimination of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and last year’s winner RB Leipzig, many lower-class teams are hoping for a place in the semi-finals.
In the next two English weeks there will be a quarter-final on Tuesday and Wednesday – all at 8.45 p.m. As in previous years, the pay TV channel “Sky” will broadcast all games live. In addition, three of the exciting encounters will also be shown on free TV.
The duel between Hertha and Kaiserslautern will only be broadcast on the pay TV channel Sky. The whistle also kicks off at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Next week both games will be available for free again. The ARD shows the top game between Leverkusen and Kaiserslautern. ZDF takes over on Wednesday, February 7th and presents the frightening favorites Saarbrücken against Gladbach. The games will be broadcast on linear television as well as in the media libraries of public broadcasters.
