In Hamburg, two people were allegedly killed in a stabbing in the Billstedt district. The police in the Hanseatic city announced the discovery of the two dead people on Friday afternoon.

According to consistent media reports, several men were arguing in a residential area. During the argument, at least one person involved allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed. Rescue workers who were called were no longer able to help the victims. The dead are said to have been lying on the street.

After an emergency call, the police deployed a large contingent to the district in the east of Hamburg, and heavily armed officers secured the area. A police helicopter also went up to find the perpetrator or perpetrators. However, the search was initially unsuccessful. The police did not provide any information about the person or persons they were looking for.

The identity of the dead was not yet known. There was also no information about the background to the dispute. The “Hamburger Morgenpost” claims to have learned that the police suspect a family connection. The investigation is ongoing.
