Ms. Zengerling, you wrote a book called “Your child is not a problem child.” Who do you mean when you talk about problem children?
Problem children are usually those children who are not sweet, nice and well-behaved, but who step out of line. For example, they do not accept boundaries and quickly become angry and violent. These children often have problems concentrating and get into trouble at school. Almost half of the children whose parents come to me for coaching have an ADHD diagnosis, and many also suffer from learning difficulties, anxiety or depression.
Alexandra Zengerling from Lonsee near Ulm is trained as a naturopath, learning and burnout therapist and has been working as a parent coach for seven years. She is married and mother of two children.
How are these children typically treated?
