In the beginning there was the word of Helge B. His word brought a change in one of the most famous missing person cases in the world, and it placed one of his acquaintances under suspicion of murder. His word had consequences – what it was worth will have to be seen this Wednesday in the jury room of the Braunschweig Regional Court.
The presiding judge therefore asks Helge B. about this festival many years ago in Spain, which was also attended by Christian B., who is sitting in the dock in Braunschweig and is a former acquaintance of Helge B.’s.
Helge B. says: “That’s not the negotiation for this.”
His lawyer and witness support says: His client will not comment, that is not the subject of the evidence.
