One person died after violence was used in a confrontation in the port of Dortmund on Thursday. The Dortmund public prosecutor’s office and the Dortmund police headquarters announced this in the evening. The person has not yet been identified.
Witnesses observed the altercation around 6:30 p.m. and called the police. Four people fled, but the police were able to arrest them a few minutes later. They were taken into police custody and identified. In the evening, the criminal police secured traces at the crime scene. Fire department divers were also deployed. The public prosecutor and police want to provide further details about the course of the crime on Friday morning.
