Their German name doesn’t sound very flattering: although slow lorises are somewhat stronger than their close relatives, the slender lorises, they are far from fat and clumsy. Their English name is much more appropriate: Slow Loris, corresponding to their leisurely way of moving. The primates, which weigh around one to two kilos, carefully climb through the branches of bushes and trees in the forests of Indonesia.
