Prof. Ravens-Sieberer, as one of the very few working groups worldwide, you and your colleagues have examined the psychological state of children and young people during the pandemic to date. How is their mental health? By 2023, twice as many children and young people as before the pandemic said they were mentally stressed: 28 instead of 15 percent. Some of them felt so bad that they became ill. And that’s because young people’s lives collapsed during the pandemic.
