The Erdinger Moto Crosser celebrates his Comeback with fourth place.

Erding– “It was mega to be back at the gate.” The long wait is over. Lion Florian contested his first runs after the corona-induced break. The MC Ludwigslust (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) had “1. Race Simulation Weekend“ invited.

That not only is the 18-year-old Erdinger missed the race, the approximately 35 000 calls to the live streams, because spectators were not allowed, of course, still on the track. 1700 meters long, the sandy track, which has adapted to the MC Ludwigslust to the level. Due to the currently difficult training conditions for professionals and ambitious cyclists take advantage of such race on the world Cup and European Championships, as well as the Masters prepare. Riders from eleven Nations were at the Start.

The Erdinger was enthusiastic: “The Organisation and the terrain were really great.” Florian came in the overall standings to fourth. After that, it had not looked after the Qualifying Race yet. He started in class MX 2, he “judged as qualitatively and quantitatively the most busy”. In Qualifying, he found himself quite quickly on the demanding Sand track, “but I had problems with my suspension”. So he ended up only on Position seven, but in the Qualifying Race had a good Start to him. After the first round, Florian was four, he defended until the end.

Even better, the first run began. Florian shot at the Start of the guide, which he was able to defend, but only for one turn. “Towards the end of the race I fell on court four back,” regrets of the Erdinger.

Also in the second race he had a good Start, but then had to let the competition pull. Florian showed morale and fought up to third Position and ultimately came up again as the Fourth. Twice in the Fourth, a logical consequence: rank four in the overall standings.

More was not in it, the had to admit that, Florian. For him, the date of the race was not optimal. “The last four weeks I was home, to your private appointments, thus, the constant Training was missing for me on the Sand.”
