The Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the General Directorate of Public Health, has confirmed 1,917 new cases of coronavirus infection during the week of May 30 to June 5, in people over 60 years of age. By provinces, Toledo has registered 740 cases, Ciudad Real 523 cases, Albacete 287, Cuenca 187 and Guadalajara 180, the Board has reported in a press release.
Currently the number of people hospitalized in a conventional bed for Covid-19 is 346. By province, Toledo has 100 of these patients (68 in the Toledo Hospital, 31 in the Talavera de la Reina Hospital and 1 in the National Paraplegic Hospital) , Ciudad Real 95 (38 in the Mancha Centro Hospital, 34 in the Ciudad Real Hospital, 9 in the Puertollano Hospital, 8 in the Tomelloso Hospital, 4 in the Manzanares Hospital and 2 in the Valdepeñas Hospital), Albacete has 84 of these patients (67 in the Albacete Hospital, 6 in the Villarrobledo Hospital, 6 in the Hellín Hospital and 5 in the Almansa Hospital), Guadalajara 44 (all of them admitted to the Guadalajara Hospital) and Cuenca 23 (all of them in the Cuenca Hospital).
There are 6 patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units who need a respirator. By province, Albacete has 3 of these patients, Ciudad Real 1, Toledo 1 and Cuenca 1.
Throughout the week, 5 patients were admitted to Intensive Care Units and 306 in conventional beds.
Likewise, during week 22, 15 deaths from Covid-19 were registered, 6 in the province of Albacete, 6 in the province of Ciudad Real, 2 in Toledo and 1 in Cuenca.
On the other hand, a total of 86 social health centers in Castilla-La Mancha have confirmed cases of coronavirus among residents. Specifically, 31 are in the province of Toledo, 18 in the province of Ciudad Real, 14 in Albacete, 13 in Cuenca and 10 in Guadalajara. Confirmed cases among residents are 599.
