The president of Real Valladolid, Ronaldo Nazario, arrived at Praza do Obradoiro at noon this Wednesday at the end of the Camino de Santiago that he made as a promise for the promotion of the club to the First Division.

There, the historic soccer player has surprised dozens of citizens, both locals and visitors, who have not hesitated to approach him to ask for a ‘selfie’ at the foot of the Cathedral, reports Ep.

Ronaldo, aboard an electric bicycle and in the company of his partner, Celina Jocks, and a support team, began the Jacobean route last Sunday from the lawn of the José Zorrilla Stadium, in Valladolid, so the journey has taken him three days.

The former Brazilian player opted for the Camino de Invierno -less crowded than other options, such as the French or Portuguese-, which has taken him through the provinces of León, Ourense, Lugo and A Coruña.

During the four days that were on the road, Ronaldo shared the different stages through his profiles on social networks. They entered Galicia through the Leonese region of Bierzo and toured municipalities such as Monforte, Quiroga and Lalín “sore but lively”, as the historic footballer recognized in an Instagram post.
