The Zamora Provincial Council collaborates in the production of the film ‘Honeymoon’, which is being shot in the Tierra de Campos region, directed by Enrique Otero and starring Nathalie Poza and Javier Gutiérrez.
The president of the provincial institution, Francisco José Requejo, visited the filming area this Wednesday and met with the director and the protagonists, in addition to being interested in the team’s stay in the province and inviting them to visit other locations, « since Zamora has outstanding landscapes».
The choice of Tierra de Campos was a personal decision made by Enrique Otero himself and by the director of photography, Sergio Franco.
The president of the Diputación, who was accompanied on the visit by the deputy from the area, José Ángel Ruiz, took advantage of the occasion to invite the director, actors and film crew to visit the Fromago fair, which will be held in Zamora on 15 to the 18th of next September.
The filming team, after five weeks of work in different parts of Galicia, is now shooting in the province of Zamora and will also travel to Valladolid to “finish off this story in the Castilian landscapes.”
‘Honeymoon’ is a “road movie with shades of black humor, which does not hesitate to explore the descent into hell of financially and emotionally ruined parents”, according to sources from the Zamora Provincial Council and Ical collects. The film production, by ControlZ together with AccaMedia, has the collaboration of the Xunta de Galicia, through Xacobeo 21-22, Agadic and the support of TVG; the councils of Zamora and Orense and the Valladolid Film Commission.
