A 29-year-old slightly injured four police officers when he was arrested in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg (Groß-Gerau district). The man jumped onto the street in front of a patrol car early on Saturday morning for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police said on Monday morning. During the subsequent check, he suddenly attacked the emergency services, it was said. With the help of further patrols and the use of batons and pepper spray, the officers managed to overpower and arrest the 29-year-old. According to the information, he fought so hard that he slightly injured two police officers.
Since the man was probably on drugs, the public prosecutor ordered a blood test. Among other things, a criminal complaint was filed against him for resistance, physical assault and dangerous intervention in road traffic.
