In a dispute in a shelter for seasonal workers in Mörfelden-Walldorf (Groß-Gerau district), two men were seriously injured – one of them life-threatening. A 36-year-old man was stabbed, police said early Friday morning. His life was in danger and he underwent emergency surgery in a Frankfurt clinic. Accordingly, his condition is currently stable again. A 28-year-old was also seriously injured with a knife wound, but not life-threateningly. After the first aid, he was able to stay in his apartment of his own volition. The police arrested a 48-year-old suspect at the scene. It was initially unclear why the men argued.
