On Sunday night, a woman suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident involving several vehicles on Autobahn 6. As the police announced, the 22-year-old passenger was in the back seat of a car that was rammed by another car just before the Landstuhl motorway junction in the direction of Mannheim. The vehicle of a 21-year-old was probably driven unbraked into the rear of the car. A third car was reportedly unable to avoid it and collided with both cars. In addition to the passenger, the driver of the rammed car and the driver of the third car were injured. The uninjured person who caused the accident was found to have a blood alcohol content of 1.1 per mille by means of an alcohol test. The investigation is ongoing.
