The 46-year-old will be working in front of and behind the camera in an international cinema film next year, said the film and television production company Südfilm from March near Freiburg on Thursday. In the German-Turkish comedy “Nazim” the native of Cologne will play a leading role and will also be responsible for the first time as a co-producer. “When I read the script, I was immediately hooked on the story,” said Eckes, according to the release.
