A drunk truck driver snaked across a federal highway in Bad Hönningen until the police were able to pull the man out of traffic on Monday evening. Witnesses alerted officials to the man’s unusual driving style. He had clearly come into the opposite lane several times, so that oncoming cars had to brake, as the police in Neuwied announced. Officials later found the driver had a breath alcohol level of around 2.2 per thousand.
