During an operation in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria, the police found four dead on Friday afternoon.

It was a violent crime, said a police spokesman late on Friday evening – he did not give any further details. The alleged perpetrator was among the four dead. All four people were related to each other, but there were no children among the dead.

According to the police, the officers first found a lifeless 60-year-old man in the garden of a family home. The immediately initiated resuscitation measures were therefore unsuccessful, the man succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The police then found three more bodies in other places in Weilheim – and among them was the alleged perpetrator. The Weilheim criminal police and the Munich II public prosecutor’s office are conducting the investigation.
