A broad alliance of different institutions called for the rally. The starting point of the demonstration was the Victory Column, the final rally will take place at the Brandenburg Gate. A joint prayer by Protestants, Catholics, Muslims and Jews is planned there. The patron of the event is Bundestag President Bärbel Bas (SPD).
Numerous speakers and artists want to appear. Those who have confirmed their attendance include the Israeli ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, the President of the Central Council of Jews, Josef Schuster, Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) and pop singer Roland Kaiser. The twelve tenors, the songwriter Klaus Hoffmann, the singer Nomcebo Zikode and the singer Joris are supposed to make music.
