Man and house are decked out for Christmas, the festival of love. But instead of love there’s quarreling. Many experience this in relationships over the holidays. According to a recent study by the Parship dating agency, every third person argues with their better half at Christmas time. Why is that?
“Christmas is associated with very high expectations. Christmas must be the best time of the year,” says psychotherapist and author Wolfgang Krüger. “That might have been true in the Middle Ages, when there was only real food to eat at Christmas.”
